Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Azevedo, DMD
Dr. Tyler Azevedo, DMD

Dr. Azevedo was born and raised in Newark, DE and is the oldest of six children. Dr. Azevedo attended Salesianum School in Wilmington, DE and graduated in 2010. From there, he pursued his bachelor's degree at the University of Delaware, majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Biochemistry. He then moved to Philadelphia to attend Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry and graduated in 2018. At Temple, Dr. Azevedo was selected as a member of the Honors Oral Surgery Team and was awarded the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery award for excellence in oral surgery and implantology. Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Azevedo has returned to Newark, DE where he resides with his wife, Carmen, and their pet potbelly pig, Lou. Dr. Azevedo is a member of both the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, playing golf, and relaxing at the beach.

Dr. Patellis received his doctor of dental medicine degree from The University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated in 1989. Dr. Patellis then completed a post-graduate general residency program at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. There, he received advanced training in I.V. conscious sedation anesthesia and emergency medical procedures. Dr. Patellis has completed post-graduate studies at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, The Dawson Institute, and the world-renowned Misch International Implant Institute.

Dr. Patellis is highly regarded as an educator and is nationally recognized as a leader in the field of CEREC and CAD-CAM Dentistry. He travels the country lecturing about CEREC for Sirona/Patterson Dental. Dr. Patellis is a past clinical instructor of The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and holds memberships in numerous professional organizations. Dr. Patellis is a fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute; and in April of 2010, he received his Diplomate status from The International Congress of Oral Impantologists; an honor and level of distinction attained by only a small percentage of dentists worldwide. In his time off, he enjoys playing golf and spending time at the beach with his family.
